Cairncross & Hempelmann Managing Partner Matt Hanna presents at the upcoming Annual Real Property Spring CLE: A Practical Guide to Real Estate Lending in Washington. The Washington State Bar Association (“WSBA”) hosts this full-day CLE annually in partnership with the WSBA Real Property, Probate, and Trust Section.

Mr. Hanna will present “Negotiating the Note: A Guide to the Promissory Note and its Place in the Loan.”  This detailed presentation will focus on the significance and role of the promissory note in real estate financing.  Attendees of this CLE will learn about key elements of commercial real estate finance transactions in Washington including the customary loan documents, concerns of borrowers and lenders, and state-specific guidance for loan transactions.
